We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our websites (based on SAP Commerce Cloud), mobile apps, and loyalty program.
While ensuring quality through meticulous manual testing, your primary focus will be to establish automation processes from scratch and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to optimize our workflows.
As a hands-on QA Lead, you will actively perform tests alongside a 5-person support team who will assist you, while also organizing and managing the overall testing process and task distribution.
This role involves collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and the support team to deliver high-quality web solutions and mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize plan, and manage the overall testing process, actively participating in test execution while distributing tasks and coordinating with the 5-person support team.
- Design and implement an automated testing framework from scratch for web and mobile platforms.
- Integrate AI-driven tools to optimize test case generation and execution.
- Analyze and review website requirements and technical specifications, including mobile apps and loyalty program features.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure adequate coverage of
website functionalities and mobile interfaces. - Identify, create and execute test cases manually alongside the team to validate website functionality, usability, and performance.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user
acceptance testing (UAT). - Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the websites and mobile apps.
- Work closely with development teams to communicate issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other team members to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
- Provide clear and concise documentation of test procedures, results, and feedback.
Qualifications:- 3-4 years of experience in manual testing of web applications, with a strong drive for test automation.
- Experience in organizing testing efforts and coordinating tasks with non-QA team members.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium,Appium).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages used for automation (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java) is a MUST. Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools for QA automation.
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android) and APIs (crucial for the loyalty program).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
